While dragons are not as popular with women as they are with men, they are still one of the most highly requested tattoo designs.  The dragon shape is perfect for wrapping around the side of a torso, encircling the arms or legs.  Many tattoo artists have used their artistic skills to freehand the winding shape around body appendages.

Dragons represent strength, power, sometimes danger, fearlessness and have the ability to fly. They were depicted as being clever and smart. All of these attributes make them an attractive subject to a lot of people.
